JUNIOR UNITED STARS ACADEMY
Ages 4-8 Development Soccer

Program Overview

Our Recreational Soccer Program for 4 to 8 year olds will focus on Small Sided Games on smaller fields. This will ensure that every player participates fully in the game, have an increased number of touches on the soccer ball, and develop basic skills in the process. Players will practice twice a week and play as a team (3 – 4 players) weekly, to maximize the opportunity to succeed for each player. With Small Sided Games, players touch the ball approximately 3 times the amount of a 7 v 7 game.  Our goal is to create an environment of learning and fun while developing the motor skills of our young athletes.

Developing Future Stars

The program is based on motor skill and agility development while working with a soccer ball. All training is focused on the proper stage of their Development and weekly Free-Play days allow them to experience their growth while competing and playing with peers. We focus on developing skilled and creative dribblers and encourage decision making through Guided Discovery Coaching Styles.

Most Importantly, We make it FUN!

When deciding on programs for your child consider the following comparisons:

Program A

  • Volunteer Adult Coach
  • No Organized Curriculum
  • Simply “Set-up and Play”
  • Large Games=Less Touches

Jr Stars Academy

  • Licensed Coaches
  • Age & Ability Appropriate
  • Motor Skill Development
  • Small Games=More Touches
